One more running play to get Clyde a touchdown and to run it up.

I was hoping LSU would do it.

Nah, gotta keep it classy in a championship game with the whole nation watching. O did the right thing. There was zero doubt who the better team was.

I thought mercy kneeling inside the 5 was far better

Burrow in the victory formation was the perfect ending.

Naaa, I think it's sweeter to kneel on the 5 as the clock runs down. We're saying, we don't need one more TD.

I was conflicted but the mercy knee was the classy call.

I predicted LSU to score 45 points. I was hoping they'd kick a field goal.

I wanted clyde to break a long one on the last drive. But it was the right move to kneel it out when we were close.

Kneeling is way more insulting.

I think they would have if Dabo had used his final time out.

50 would have been nice. Doubling up our championship game competition would have been fantastic but really, who cares. Im just happy today. Lsu tigers are national champs. Earned alot of respect yesterday

Yeah, With all the crap we’ve heard from the Clemson fans over the past two weeks, I wanted us to score a touchdown & then go for 2, but in retrospect I think Coach O chose the correct & proper path,”.

To me mercy kneeling that close to the goal line is much more satisfying. It's like, "Yeah. We could score again. Ya'll can't stop us. Everyone knows it. So instead of scoring again to make you look bad, we're going to show mercy to make you look even worse."

From the 20 sure. The 2, no. Classy move.
