It’s the biggest game right now. Like O said, don’t make it any bigger than any other game. LSU has to go undefeated just to get here, so every other game was just as important

1/9/12. If you doubt it, just think of the perdition that loss cast us into.

I think Oklahoma 2003 was the biggest, simply because it cemented this program as a 21st century powerhouse. You can talk bluebloods all you like, but looking forward, LSU is one of the top 2 or 3 bluebloods.

I’d give the 2011 game the nod. Just felt bigger but maybe that’s because we were playing Bama and we are probably going to beat the shite out of Clemson

2004 versus was the biggest as it started off our golden years, but this is a close second. A win, and we become contenders for the the decade. A loss, and it sets the program back bigly.

Yes because if LSU loses in NOLA with their best QB ever, they lost their only chance to win a Natty under Coach O. It’s back to 9-3 next year regardless for you guys, but at least a Natty would make the 2020 Citrus Bowl a little sweeter

We hv been to the NC in the modern era.! So in that regard no.?”but this could be a game defining moment as far as best team ever in college football IMO.

That win over Oklahoma for the 2003 National Championship was huge as it placed LSU at the table of modern college football dominance. The loss to Alabama on 1/9/12, in a way, removed LSU from that table. This game has the ability to recover from that loss and heal the wounds suffered that night. I would also suggest that a win tonight has the ability to make this LSU season one of if not the greatest seasons in college football history. The 2011 tigers had such an opportunity and couldn't deliver. This team looks much more capable. Anyway, I would rank this game as certainly one of the top two or three in school history as far as the football program is concerned.

So tied for first.

Probably so. I say that because I think a loss here will be just as devastating as the Bama championship loss, maybe even more. Leading up to the Bama game, we were looked at as one of the greatest college football teams ever. We got completely humbled that game. This year, we are looked at as one of the greatest offenses ever, and one of the greatest teams ever. A loss here would minimize just about every accomplishment this team had this year. We have to finish!

For the program moving forward, absolutely.

This game could ultimately be our window to start building something special here. We can’t have 1/9/12 ever happen again, that shite would be hard to rebound back from again.

Yes. There are just too many wrongs that are righted with a win today.
