Should burglar bars be banned?

Everyone knows that burglar bars are a known fire hazard, but no one seems to mention how racist it is to have them. If you drive around town, you will see them in only areas with higher %'s of people of color. Obviously those homeowners are racists because there's no 100% certainty that your specific house will be burglarized, they are just casting that prejudice on the local area.
I know of a very wealthy house that was burglarized, and they didn't feel the need to put bars on their windows. I think bars on windows propagates racist stereotypes and maintains a "prison" like feel that impressionable at risk youth subconsciously absorb. Burglar bars should be banned. What say you?

If I had burglar bars, I would remove a set, cut off a bar, and bludgeon you with it so you will stop posting dumb shite. Then I'd weld back in the bar and set it back in place.

Did it cross your mind that maybe black people put up burglar bars? You sound like a racist idiot.

The fire marshal should cite and fine each home that has them. Like walking into a store and the people are behind bullet proof glass. Rip that down too. Stores near CCLA don't have them, obviously the stores that do are pre-judging that they are unsafe because of the higher % of color.

There have been quick release burglar bars for decades. They are not a fire hazard.

Gonna arrest people that lock their cars as they drive down Plank or Prescott? Or hell, lock their homes? You are a weirdo and a troll.

And what if you were overcome by smoke and a fire fighter needed to rescue you? And most of those bars were put on in 1940-1950 when white people owned them, before white flight out of those neighborhoods.

What if you're overcome by smoke and your deadbolt is locked? We should ban deadbolts too. Maybe doors and windows also.

Are you really this ignorant or just a really shitty troll?

Most insurance companies in the state have already put a ban on them. They simply won’t write or will cancel you unless you have a quick release on them so you won’t be trapped inside in the even of a fire
