Jefferson is the only one who would be tough to replace given his production this year.

You are severely underestimating Lloyd Cushenberry.

but best to take a chance than save spots you likely won’t need.

well here's the other thing.

You can only have 85 scholarship players on the roster.

Which is stupid imo

I do. I made tat clear I thought. I don't think SEC coaches can afford to use a sholly on a guy who will for sure take 3 years to play a down.

Then you’re not paying attention. Three years is redshirt junior year. That is extremely common.

Especially on the offensive and defensive lines. Your really high impact guys on the defensive line will probably show out earlier. But a lot of your depth is built on having older, more physically developed players that can give you good snaps.

We are getting a good RB which is missing from your post. Bradford or Gibbs.

But if they're lottery tickets like the 25th guy last year,
Excuse my ignorance, who was 25th last year?

Desmond Little 247 Profile

I'm not sure if his name was mentioned one time on this board before signing day, or maybe the day before.

The good part is you don't lose the scholarship if you take someone. It can still be used in 2021.

Please clarify what you mean by this. Anyone signed is a counter lost recruit or transfer unless they walk on or blue shirt.

I mean if Monday goes well, I don't see how we couldn't get the last few spots filled if we wanted.

We have 19 right now. McGlothern, McKinnley Jackson, Crawford, RB, WR, CamRon Jackson are takes.

I would rather take Kaufman at safety rather than another WR. We have 5 of the 9 4/5* players in Louisiana are WR. Just load up next year on WR.

I would definitely take Adams at WR. Dude looks like a baller and I think we could use a third in this class.

Yeah, that has turned out so poorly at LSU, guys like Foster Moreau, Duke Riley, Lloyd Cushenberry, and Justin Jefferson were just space fillers.
Just because they were the last to sign or the lowest rated in a class does not mean they were the last ones considered. Justin Jefferson was always going to be in at LSU.
