Dumb thought but the shooting down of that plane really makes no sense at all. Planes come and go from that airport all the time and yet for some odd reason someone gets an itchy trigger finger and accidentally shoots a plane down? I’m not buying it... however, if you take a step back and look at the weak retaliation last night by Iran and their firing ballistic missiles into our bases, it might. Consider the scenario, Iran fires a few dozen missiles into the bases and goads the mad man DJT into responding with air strikes. Surprise surprise a commercial airliner gets downed in the confusion and everyone gets to blame their deaths on Trump and his recklessness. It’s a huge win for Iran

Notice the Brits, Canadians, Germans, etc are quiet about the whole thing. Even Trump didn’t mention it in his statement. And the Iranian foreign minister talking about not escalating anymore.
All these things points to a nervous Iranian air defense soldier who panicked and fired on the jet. Plus, Iran almost immediately said they didn’t want any help with the investigation.
So they know what happened, confessed to the Euros, and everyone stays quiet.

But that is why Trump didn't do anything. He knows the future. He has a 100% record of not doing the wrong thing.

It would be interesting to get the actual "Names" of who was on the flight. That could be quite telling.

I read where there were some interesting passengers on this flight worth looking into.
I'll see if I can copy and paste the two that stand out the most.
I love the spin though by both sides of this shindig kabuki theater. Whichever side you tend to lean on sounds so good, yet the truth is likely no where close to either side.

I just explained it. The narrative from the Dems and the media is Trump is a mad man, Trump is irrational, Trump is gonna get us into WW3 with Iran. Last night was it, Iran was avenging their great General with a couple dozen missiles and omg, omg!! Trump is gonna respond, he’s gonna get us all killed. Only he didn’t respond. He didn’t launch missiles and air strikes on targets around Iran. He didn’t flatten cultural sites either. However, if he had, that downed airliner would have been a massive blow politically, even though the Iranians shot it out of the sky. That’s all I’m saying. His enemies were lined up last night waiting for the opportunity to paint him as reckless.

we need to run finger prints on the part, we can only assume Trump did this and he must prove his innocents.
