Racing?
From that video they were not "racing". He was going way faster than the other car yet was behind it.
They are wanting to hang the other guy because one of their boys in blue kilt himself being a moron.

So which is it? Talking up his idiot officer then telling us how street racing is terrible so they have to find this other car.
That he obviously wasn't racing. He was going at least 30mph faster than the white car while chasing it down.

Street racing in general is idiotic and the penalties for it should be much harsher.
People watch that crap on tv and think it is real then go out and try to create their own street races with 100+ people and 50 or more cars around. There is a popular spot not far from where I live. It is a long, straight road that those folks just love. There have been a couple of fatalities over the past few years.
Steet Outlaws is not real street racing, and in all reality it is just as regulated as a drag strip. Hell, they have to get permits to film and production hires the police to help out. People still believe that shite is real, though.
