Why do pro defenses get less gassed than college?

It's somewhat of a factor but not nearly as much. By the end of a hard fought game a college defense is dragging while in a pro game they're still playing at a high level. Granted they're better athletes, but they're playing against better athletes, they're generally a good bit older and have less depth.

Are you joking?
Their job is to be in shape. They don’t have to go to class.
They are adults with the best training and best conditioning in the world.

It’s their job. College offenses typically play at a faster tempo as well

The games are shorter, the clock doesn’t stop every first down

WHy does the defense wear down but not the offense? I feel like that's a stupid question but honestly don't know the reason.

This is a good question. Basically, it takes more energy per position to play defense than offense except WR and even then they take plays off.
Defenders are all running to the ball every play. Offensive players usually do not have to exert that type of energy every play.

Look at the number of plays per game

Offensive players also know what they are going to do before every single play. Their motions are thought out and acted upon.
Defensive players do not have that luxury and have to react to what they see, feel and only then can they react.
For example; A WR runs a POCO route, he knows he will make a move to fake the corner and go inside across the middle of the field. The DB has to react and then recover to the motions of the receiver. Over lets say 35 pass plays in a game, the DB is exerting much more energy due to the extra motions required to cover their man.

1. College offenses go sideline to sideline more so than nfl
2. Nfl can sub more since most offenses aren’t going as absolute fast as they can
3. Better conditioning

This. Less plays.
It’s also their job to be in peak condition.

The word “pro” may have something to do with it.

Just go out in the yard and play chase with someone.
See who wears down first.
