Ridiculously fast when compared to a human of similar size and weight.....more durable as well

Chimps don't F around: As St. James confronted the chimp, the six-two former running back turned to find a second chimp â?? also a male, this one older and bigger â?? bearing down on him as well. With both hands, he pushed the bigger animal. Both chimps pounced. One of the animals grabbed him in a bear hug before chomping into the bone above his right eyebrow. He then stuck his finger in St. James's right eye, gouging it out. The same animal clamped his teeth onto St. James's nose, biting it off, as the other chimp chewed away at St. James's fingers. In the melee, one of the chimps dug in his claws and ripped the skin off the right side of St. James's face, causing it to flop over and cover his left eye, temporarily blinding him. One of the primates sunk his teeth into St. James's skull. He then closed his jaws on St. James's mouth, ripping off his lips and most of his teeth. St. James tried to put one of his hands down the animal's throat, but the chimp just kept chewing on it and chewing on it, and he couldn't get it out.
St. James fell to the ground, no longer able to defend himself, and for at least five minutes, the mauling continued as he lay helpless. One of the chimps gnawed on his buttocks and bit off his genitals.

In the gorilla threads, posters assume that gorillas have unlimited stamina and can take on a thousand people.
Yeah, but there are posters that also assume the 10th human is going to go in after a gorilla after he saw the previous 9 die brutal deaths.
The reality based answer is that the human group would probably wuss out before anyone laid a hand on the gorilla when it felt threatened and got pissed off.

Humans are the king of the world, yet this board thinks we somehow just fell butffrick backwards into getting here with blind luck
This boards version of humans would never have made it
We have humans charge into fricking battlefields with bullets flying and bombs going off, yet everyone here is convinced any human will just quit and bend over backwards while they let a chimp or any animal buttfrick them to death
A fricking hipster long distance runner killed a 100lb mountain lion with his bare hands recently. Christ people we can be savages too

Watch how fast a chimp climbs a tree. Like gravity doesn't exist.
Also, the chimps arms are longer, he is going to tear your face off while you are reaching for air, hell, he might hold your arms with his feet and pull your head off with his arms.

It sounds like you're volunteering to be the first guy in vs the gorilla to defend humankind's honor.
I support that and if you're truly that down, I'm in for a gofundme to set up your chance vs a gorilla.
Humans got where they got because of brains and tool use, not because they have any chance of effing with a gorilla hand to hand. Saying we're an apex predator...we ain't killing a rhino hand to hand.

Humans, before we figured out how to use tools, mastered the art of hunting in packs with advanced forms of communication. They manged to kill game and animals much larger in size before they had any weapons
Read a damn book

Humans have always used tools. Even Neanderthals show historical record of using tools.

I don't think that. I think when the humans get close enough that the gorilla feels threatened and starts going ape****, the humans make business decisions like Cam in the Super Bowl and walk away.
To have a shot, humans need waves of people who are getting seriously hurt or killed. People aren't going through with that. Even if you offer them money, there are ways to make money that don't involve substantial risk of disfigurement or death.

Who is volunteering for shite?
This thread is about life or death situations. 1000 humans are absolutely going to win against 1 gorilla in a life or death matter.

Humans have always used tools
But primates do this as well
Anyway, early humans killed large animals with zero tools at times. They would literally use our badass apex stamina and run animals to death

The reality is they wouldn’t be fighting a gorilla directly in the first place. Maybe playing around like those idiots that jump into an animal enclosure. But I highly doubt you could get a bunch of fit grown men to actually fight a gorilla instead of trying to escape.
Nor would a gorilla also not be scared if it was closely surrounded by hundreds of people. If anything it might be trying to keep it’s distance after a few encounters.
In these scenarios, I’m assuming both sides are actually fighting to the death for some reason. If it’s truly a life and death situation, an adrenaline pumped person can ignore the pain and fear. And the gorillas don’t have great stamina.

A human recently broke his own arm and then sawed it off with a pocket knife in order to survive ......
We can also go “human shite”, just like an ape goes ape shite

I once watched a heavyweight mma fighter, who got a title shot in the UFC, pick a bar fight with an untrained half retard in a bar who had about 14 inches of height and 150lbs on him.
Who are you talking about? There have been some shitty heavyweights come through the UFC throughout the years. Right now,155 is the most competitive division in MMA (because so many many men are in the 170-180lb range) and the training is light years better now than it was 10 years ago. Of course, anyone can land a lucky shot, esp in a bar when alcohol is involved. 99/100 though, the skill and speed advantage of a well-trained average-sized man will be too much for a large brute that is untrained.
My father was a decent amateur boxer and showed me how to fight at an early age. With very little training, I used to toy with larger bullies after school. Knowing defense and waiting for the adrenaline dump after 3-5 minutes is enough to embarass most big guys. It was only guys that could match my speed or were faster than me that I would worry about. Speed, skill, and toughness trump everything else in a fight.
The new breed of MMA fighter trains full-time and is very well-rounded. Defense is a relatively new thing in MMA.
