I’m getting her some toys and bones.
I reminded my siblings that I now have a child and that they should remember to get her something. Lol
Not wanting to derail the thread but my puppy (9m) loves to just rip all stuffed animals to shreds and eats the stuffing. She even rips the small tennis balls up.
Is that normal?

Yep. That fat bastard got a Yetti water bowl last year. This year he's in the dog house since last week he decided to throw-up right in front the robot vacuum and watch as it pushed it all around the living room and kitchen.

I don’t buy Christmas gifts for my own pets, but I bought some anti freeze for my neighbor’s dog last year. He must have loved it because he doesn’t bark at me anymore when I’m in my backyard.

We just adopted a 3 year old 65lb Black Lab in September.
Wife: What are we getting the dog?
Me: Ummm.. Excuse me?
Wife: For Christmas, the dog, a gift?
Me: We saved her from a shelter and she sleeps in our bed. I think we are covered.
Wife: But I can't put that in her stocking.

I don't have any pets now, but when I was a kid I had both a dog and a cat, and my parents ALWAYS filled stockings for them on Christmas.
I think it's neat, and when I have pets again they will definitely get a visit from Santa.

I do. Helps distract him while others are opening gifts. kinda like letting your youngest child open up a gift first so they are somewhat calm for 10 minutes.

Our dog gets a new bed every couple of years for Christmas. I usually get a big rawhide for her too. FWIW her bday is the day after Christmas so it works out well replacing her old worn out things with new ones.

My mom always buys my dog a toy, even though I’ve told her for years he won’t play with toys. 
I get some candy canes for the horses and a few treats for the dog.

My wife gets the dog so many toys all of the time but especially around Christmas. The dog is so used to getting gifts and toys that she thinks every damn Amazon box delivered this time of year has something for her inside of it.

I don't but my wife (no pics) does, the mongrels even have their own stockings with their names on them.....smdh...(for the record I married into the family)
