No offense to Utah or Oklahoma, but Clemson vs LSU is just a better game from a viewer and hype standpoint. It may or may not be the easier path to the championship, but it is what I would prefer to watch as a viewer.

Clemson is untested so it might be the easier path.

I'd rather play Clemson than Georgia twice

I think Clemson is ripe for the picking. They remind me of 2003 Oklahoma before they got whipped by Kansas State in Big XII championship.

They've feasted on hapless opponents all year. Their starters are accustomed to only playing 2-3 quarters.

A good team could easily shell-shock them in the semi-finals.

I’d like Clemson and OSU to beat each other up.

I honestly don’t care. Just beat Georgia and make the CFP. Don’t really care who’s next.

Not sure the players/staff need it, but playing Clemson in the semi-final would give them slightly more time to prepare & heal up prior to playing.

Clemson may well be a tougher personnel matchup for LSU than OSU. Time will tell.

Many of us are not mere viewers. We are alumni, we are fans with a vested interest in seeing our alma mater win a championship. We have already seen LSU play and win huge matchups against Texas, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and soon to be Georgia. Playing an "easier" no. 4 team will not be some viewing travesty compared to playing no. 3 Clemson.

I want LSU to have the easiest path to winning the title, no matter who we play or don't play.

I think we match up very well against Clemson. The bands interaction would be very confusing though.

Would the same not be true of OSU-Clemson instead of OSU-Utah?

If you wanna be a sissy then day dream about beating up weak sauce Utah. I would prefer to play Oklahoma because Hurts can’t pass the ball consistently to save his life. You take away the qb run from Jalen and he’s toast. He’ll either get sacked or start throwing interceptions.

Switch this to basketball and see how this sounds.....

Let’s say in the near future LSU is in position to be a number 1 seed.

Would you rather be a number 1 seed and play 16 seed North Dakota St or be an 7 seed and play 10 seed Florida ?
