I’d like for us to be number 1 but I don’t care who we play as we have to beat the best teams to win anyway! But it would be nice to have Clemson and Ohio st beat up on one another before we have to play them!

They need to move to a final ranking only.
This movement without explanation during the season is going to kill their credibility
It’s nearly 2020, and we moved to a completely subjective measure away from an (at least partial) objective, computer driven model. There is something wrong with this picture.

Fibebaum is paid by the SEC to promote the SEC. LSU just happens to be the best team in the SEC at the moment so he has to pretend to like us. I think he does the same thing with Alabama when they're on top. JMO.

Agreed. I really think this year it matters more than any year before. LSU, Clemson, or Ohio State could win it all this year.

Go back to BCS but make the formulas public so you dont have frickery with the results from the anonymous ones as you had in the past.
Also hold some level of accountability to the coaches poll if its still in. People like the dipshit who put Okie State at like 7th in his final poll just to sway the average should have some repercussions in the event that it is obviously a ploy to rig the system.

When the new CFP system was announced, the main concern that fans had was could the committee be fair and impartial and make selections without bias. We should’ve known we’d end up where we are, because it’s impossible for humans to be without bias of some sort. Now, we’ve got a bunch of people manipulating the narrative to achieve the outcome that they desire. It’s a complete farce. I have a feeling that these clowns aren’t done yet, so hold on. Things are about to get interesting.

On the other hand, ESPN lists Michigan State (6-5) as a quality win for Ohio State.
