People blaming this on economics and finances are being spurious.

The real reason millenials and youngsters aren’t having kids is because they don’t want the responsibility and do not view children as a source of meaning and happiness

If finances are to blame, why is it that poor Americans households have higher birth rates?

The women not having kids are NOT indebted, going-nowhere young women

They are professional class yuppie women, urban dwelling and suburban dwelling, who are refusing to have children because they view motherhood as a form of oppression

That is an absolute fact......

If we are going to have fewer jobs because of A.I. and robots is this a bad thing?

Progressive Utopia. What few Liberals are left are appalled by what the Democrat Party has become.

No, but they probably would become that if they started popping out multiple kids like the women of the past.

this is certainly a factor

because, frankly, most poor people are very stupid, irresponsible people who don’t think about the future.

Student debt and rising COL in big cities is absolutely delaying the higher quality people having kids

Yep. Feel sorry for those having kids now. Their kids peer group will mostly be methkids, gangbangers, and mexicans.

Just means they'll have less competition when they get older. Which is why know is the best time to have kids.

My wife and I were one and done. Isn't a thinning population a good thing though?

Because we have created a welfare state that leeches mostly off the middle class.

The lower class who are shite heads don't care about having a full time job. They have kids and the government supports them.

For a couple in middle class or lower middle class having children is a sacrifice. You have to pay for all the things the child needs.

No. A healthy economy depends on a growing population.

Examples: Japan, Lancaster Co. Pennsylvania, Greece, Portugal, Detroit.

Only if survival of the fittest applies. Unfortunately we are going In the opposite direction. Society has been constructed to be easy to survive and it benefits the lower rungs to out breed the people who hold power.

The future is very bleak.

"Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
