That's already been done, twice.

I assumed there was some sarcasm in his post.

The Bentley SUV is t anything to sneeze at either. It’s a great off road vehicle.

Sure, but what kinda arsehole is going to take a $200K vehicle off-roading?

If you have the kind of money to throw 200k for a new Aston Martin SUV, then you probably might. This is a toy for the rich.

Abysmal^

Like the difference between these two vehicles (both ‘65 XKEs), the first one is a grand slam and the second is merely a long foul ball.

The kinda arsehole for whom $200K is pocket change.

How many 500+ hp cars actually see any track time? I have a neighbor and good friend that has 7 Corvettes (will be 8 in a couple of months) and he has never driven a car on the track in his life. Most people with monetary options don't drive what they need, they drive what they want and often what they want is a whole bunch of capability they will never use and don't have the skills to exploit fully if they tried. I like to think of myself as a decent weekend track warrior but in reality, I am running around at a cool-down lap pace for a real driver but it ain't gonna stop me from buying faster and faster cars, well at least until it kills me.

It's sad when sports car and luxury car brands feel like they have to make an SUV. Thanks Ferrari.

Can't blame the manufacturers, the market has told them what it wants.

Factors involved in Americans liking trucks and SUVs is an older and fatter population that can’t comfortably get in and out of lower sitting cars.

I saw a Maserati suv the other day in BR. I was thoroughly confused by 2 things:

1) why would you buy a Maserati SUV?
2) if you can afford a Maserati SUV, why live with popes like me in BR?

I’m not seeing the issue?

It’s the best all around sports SUV ever made and has allowed the brand to grow immensely while providing R&D funding for projects like the 918, 911 (GT models and the Cup and RSR race cars) as well as the fastest race car ever in the 919 Evo.

Maybe I just hate consumers in the auto market.

I can't say much, though, I have an odd collection and taste.

They named an SUV after a noise reduction and signal processing company?

Why not call it Telcom c4 or Dolby?
