This is just ranking models and not brands?

2017 Jeeps were money, but then just steadily got more unrealiable.

Porsche near the very top? No surprise.

Consumer Reports is an echo chamber, I don’t trust anything they put out.

Weird. Every Chevy me or my family had growing up was bulletproof. We had a Ford and Toyota along the way that were shite

Consumer Reports isn’t reliable. There are a few vehicles on here that are contradictions
Posted on 11/19/19 at 4:27 pm to Obtuse1
My problem with the CR reliability ratings is that it's based on owner surveys and AFAIK they have no way to account for market segment differences i.e. certain brands may have a larger number of owners that treat the vehicles like shite and consequently are more likely to report major engine and transmission problems.
ETA:
Or simply brands that don't have certain classes of vehicles in their lineup that are more likely to see rough usage like heavy duty trucks.

How are Chevy and Ford not at the bottom?

I've had three Challengers since 2009. Zero issues with any of them.
So the "Dodge sucks for reliability" crowd can go frick themselves
