For regular season games - 1 but because I’ve never wanted a regular season win more.

Why is that so hard to believe? I feel like 11/12 is when a lot of boys start really paying attention to sports

Right behind 07 Florida. 9-6 is right after last Saturday. I was at 07 UF so that’s probably why it’s still better for me. We also finished the deal that year

Was born in 92, but can't remember much before the 02 season, and even then through 06 is sorta fuzzy. Games that immediately pop out for good reason are '05 Peach Bowl (Miami), '06 Sugar, '2007 UF, '07 SECCG, '07 Natty, '10 Tennessee, '11 Oregon/UF/Bama/Arky/SECCG, '12 SC, '17 Auburn, '18 UGA, '19 Texas/UF/Bama

The thing that sticks out thinking all those through is just how forgettable 2013-2017 has been. Aside from the amazing offense in 2013, those final Miles years were full of unexciting games we won going away and a lot of let downs in the games that were supposed to be competitive. All of those games like '07 Auburn, or '10 Tennessee, or '11 UF where we won in the last second we started losing, and it made for some very stale football.

If I had to rank I'll say:

#1 - 2007 UF
#2 - 2019 Bama
#3 - 2018 UGA
#4 - 2011 Bama
#5 - 2012 South Carolina (personal reasons for this one)

1960 LSU 6 Ole Miss 6. Down year for us. Knocked Ole Miss out of number 1. Was 11 years old visiting Aunt and Uncle in Jackson. Fierce rivalry back then. My Aunt said, "Yeah that's that team from up north." Must have been State fans.

You know we don't actually have any bearing on the outcome of future games...right?

Talking about a game of that magnitude just 6 days later isn't going to hurt anything

20 -10 in '82 should make a top 20 or 25 list. Last game played vs Bear and we dominated them.

Agreed. Before that age, it's really just a spectacle. But around 11-12, that's when lots of people's interests sets in, and you become a lifelong fan.

You know right. I have been following sports since 6-7 years old. My friends were following sports way before 11 and 12 back in the day. I was born 1970 I can remember the Jan 1977 SB between da Raders and the Vikes and watching the Raiders D nearly put Tarkenton in the hospital and Sammy White nearly losing his head to Jack Tatum and Dave Caspar catching TD passes etc. The Steel Curtain, Doomnsday defense of the Cowboys, the Dolphins of the late 70's, early 80's (my favorite), Earl Campbell and the Oilers, Archie Manning era Saints. Remember late 70's LSU with Charles Alexander, Carlos Carson etc. Remember Ensminger and Dave Woodley when they were QBs.
