Honestly I watched original GotC at a bar in new orleans and I'll never forget the final FG going through and we all erupted
The feeling of that game was like "hell yes we are the best we told you"
Beer going everywhere. Hugging. Jumping around.
11/09/19 GotCII again at a bar in new orleans
It wasn't a walk off win which is pretty cool, but it was a more consistent emotional game. The Tua fumble we jumped and cheered. The first soaring TD to Chase it seemed like I hadn't seen a Tiger score in Alabama like that in forever. We looked so so so damn good. Going up 20 points in Tuscaloosa was an unbelievable feeling. Even when Najee made a run in the 3rd I knew we were going to win.
It was like being set free from purgatory after spending 8 years there. 1/9/12 and then the TJ Yeldon screen and the kickoff out of bounds and the two shutouts all just were washed away.
It was an incredible night

1. 03 ship will always be my #1. First ship in my life time and OU was supposed to be the best college football team ever.
2. Beating Tebow in 07 was amazing. That's still the loudest game I've ever been to and the best played game by both teams I've witnessed.
3. Finally beating BAMA. It would have been #2 if the score indicated how bad we actually dominated the game. A punt return and two fluke plays saved them from being embrassed.

The ‘82 Bama game ranks pretty high for me. But I’m pretty old. ‘19 Bama game would be in my top 10 though.

quote:'07 UF and 2011 Bama were great games. Both were epic struggles where the outcome for either teams was in question until the final score. This one did not have that feel at all. More akin to the '03 OU NCG. Just not as close.
I always said 07 Florida was my favorite game

2007 Florida was vintage LSU power football. Heart-stopping action for 4 quarters. Tiger stadium was phenomenal that Sat. night. Converting all 4th down opportunities was incredible. Still the best!
