It's hard to put TGOTC II above the national championship games just based on the fact that a win means you're the champ.
As far as regular season, TGOTC II is right up there with 07 Fla and TGOTC I. Having said that, I think the first half of this game has to be the greatest half in LSU football history and is certainly my favorite. I don't know how I could have felt any better about my team than I did at halftime on Saturday

If losing in the NC Game, as admittedly shitty as that was, until this year is as bad as it gets. Count urself blessed youngster!!

You know what I wouldn’t trade those early years(90’s) of my fan hood for anything. I say that because finally made getting to those championship years in the early 2000’s much more worth it and satisfying. To see what true lean years are and finally get to the Pinnacle is what it’s all about. Same way I feel about the Saints (80’s - Current).

I’m pretty much with this guy....

Championship games aside... this is my 100% clear cut new #1 for regular season games. This was waaaaaay too long coming ( but it just makes it that much more sweeter and meaningful )

2019 Alabama
2003 Georgia
1997 Florida
2007 Florida

Hmmm...I’d say I haven’t felt this good in a long long time. I’m sure I was as satisfied with numerous other big wins..but right now..given the 8 game losing streak and the internet Bama fans...this feels as good as it gets.

Where does last Saturday rank on your all time lsu games?

1. 2003 NC game. I'd been waiting a long time to see LSU win a NC n football. That game was really something special. A lot of people on here don't remember what it was like before LSU became a contender for the NC. Some people even said it wasn't possible for LSU to win the NC. That was the greatest and sweetest game I'd ever watched.
2. 2007 NC game.
3. 2001 SEC championship game.
4. 1982 bama game.
5. 2019 bama game.
Answer is 5th on my list.
1993 bama game was sweet. !997 Fla game was sweet. 1982 Orange bowl game against Nebraska was bittersweet. LSU lost by 1 but nobody thought LSU could hang with Nebraska that year. LSU should have gone undefeated that season. That team was that good.

If we’re ranking top games in the last 25 years, it’s definitely top 2-3. I’ve said all week, this has the potential to be the biggest game in the decades. All of the things that can come out of this win, are yet to be known. But we may look back in 10 years and say this is the game that turned LSU into the Bama of the last decade.
I think the 2001 sec championship game is the most important game in the last decade. I was there. Tennessee fans were walking into the Georgia dome with roses thinking they were going to the rose bowl to play for the National championship. With that win against Tennessee, LSU established they were on the come. Two national championship in the next 6 years proved that. I feel we’ll look back after this win and say Saturday was the day it turned in favor of the Tigers.

That game is in the past and this whole board is still focused on it. That was only a stepping stone for this team and everyone acts like it was the NC. Get over it, we have the front runner of the heisman trophy at quarterback for LSU. Say that again to yourself. He did not come here to beat BAma. He came here with one goal in mind. It’s time for everyone to be on that page.

It ranks right up there with OU BCSNC. That marked a change in our program and this has the same feeling

The OU BCS Championship is my Favorite.
Same here.

Living in Oklahoma and consistently sporting my LSU swag, it was absolutely insufferable leading up to that game. It was beyond gratifying to watch our defense absolutely embarrass that OU offense and hold them to 168 total yards.

This 2019 Bama game might be my #2.
