I’m fine with that.
I’m also fine with her splitting the Dem vote and causing a Dem civil war between the myriad of factions who all thought it was “their turn” only to get screwed by her.

I'd like to see Tulsi Gabbard take over the Dem party. She's poised to do so once all this plays out.
We shouldn't want to see the DNC destroyed. One party states aren't cool no matter who's side you're on.
Instead, we should seek to see the DNC restored to something respectible. I mean, at this point even the average Democrat is sure to be looking at their leadership and saying "WTF M8?" Not the sky screamers we see on the news, but the average Dem voter. They see through this.

They won’t be destroyed but I see them spending probably 8-12 years in the wilderness as they build a new coalition and try to develop some new talent.

The thing I don't understand are these reports saying that the filing deadline closes this week to appear on ballots.
if that's really true then how would a brokered convention with a Dark Knight candidate coming forward in september 2020 actually work?
Or are those filing deadlines only for the party primaries?

This is her in into the race. It isn't "her" wanting to do it, it her stepping up to the plate for the country, because that is her "duty".

I think pretty much everyone knows the gig is up for her at this point. If we here all know it, you can trust that the people with grip to throw heavy at presidential candidates know it.
There won't be any Saudi money flowing in anymore. She's toast. The Minority Whip already told her not to enter.

If Obama wanted Biden, he would have endorsed him already. Choosing Biden as his VP candidate was a nod to old White Dems, most of whom won’t be voting in 2020...because they’re dead.
