And the rant labeling him a pot head

You hate to see it.

Doesn’t matter where we’re ranked or what part of the season it is. There’s nothing you can do to subside depression.

It’s bigger than football, man

You're going to get downvoted but you're right. We probably won't ever find out, but we owe it to the man to take him on his word. If he says he's dealing with personal demons then give him your support and move on.

For all the shite they do to police "rumors" on here, it's weird how much was allowed to fly on here today.

All he has to do is say he is. Never understood why people don’t. You will get an overwhelming amount of support if you are just honest instead of hiding and letting people make shite up.

O is going to cover for him and Divinity is going to do the same. That is just how it has worked this year under O with disciplinary issues. It’s not hard to read between the lines.

There didn't need to be a 14th thread on this. People are emotional and pissed off at the thought of a self inflicted wound leading up to the biggest game of the year.

Players on the team are telling people he failed a piss test last week. People who know staff members are saying he failed a piss test last week. Muscona is saying it without saying it, because he talks to people who would know. All the morning guys who get their stuff from Ponamsky are saying the same things.

Maybe he is incredibly depressed, and that's why he kept failing tests and got kicked off the team, but those two things aren't mutually exclusive. I genuinely feel bad for the guy, because he probably is dealing with some shite for his judgement to be that far off, but at this point anyone who doesn't want to acknowledge that he was kicked off is being willfully ignorant.

I think too many people are treating both as individual causes for his walking away. Truth is, a great deal of people with mental health issues us weed as a coping mechanism. It’s very possible that his drug use is tied to whatever his mental state is.

I get the impression the weed may be a by product of a separate issue.

So did he drop out of school for the semester or just paused his football season?

Quite Frankly, it’s amazing that the players keep these things internal. Plus, you’re right.

I just never get mad about or let what some young men on a football team do affect me to the point that so many here do.

It's crazy to me.

I hope whatever Divinity is dealing with is not so big that he can't overcome it. Good luck to him

He’s depressed, blazed to not feel depressed and popped hot on a drug test. Why is that so unreasonable to think?

I agree, I speculated and assumed that is was weed but i dont think that any longer, i think he lost a loved one or something along the lines and it has him fricked up... I apologize MD45 for assuming. God bless!

Its also possible that he's a pot head and you are labeling him a mentally ill person.

Good luck trying to put forth rational thought on the Rant.
Rather than know the facts, it's easier and more convenient to label someone (the player), blame someone (compliance) and accept some jackass' conjecture (radio talking heads).
