Let the line stay that way. We need to be the underdog and have something to prove. This is a better situation than being favored.

Based off of that LSU would be -2 at home. Last year the line was what -14 or something?

That's a 12 point jump from last year. Pretty freaking significant

That's about right. Bama is the hometeam + LSU hasn't beaten them anywhere in a generation.

Again, this is a prediction of public opinion about the game, NOT a prediction of the game.

The opening line I mean

I see a lot of people up in arms about this. The solution is simple, put your money where your mouth is.

I will allow it. Gives Coach O the ability to give the team the underdog mentality

The line will move down. It may end up somewhere around 4 or 5 if Florida handles UGA next weekend.

Honestly, I'm surprised the number is only +8.

As the home team Bama gets a 3 point advantage. That means on a neutral site Bama would be a 5 point favorite, and I think it all has to do with the uncertainty of Tua. The line will probably creep up to 10 if/when it's confirmed he's playing. If he were healthy, the line would probably be 12 - 14.

That may piss LSU fans off, but they've EARNED the benefit of the doubt. This may be the year LSU breaks through, but recent history says Alabama is the better bet. Plus, if you think the line is too high then betting on LSU to beat the spread should be easy money

Honestly, Who GAF?

Winning by 1 or winning by 100, I'll take it.

If you think it is too high, prove it by taking the points and betting large.

Did you see that 2018 offense we played last Saturday where we slowed the offense down and couldn’t score in the red zone with the dropped passes and special teams screw ups? Did you see us playing the merkat offense instead of the warp speed offense last week?
That is why we are favored to lose. If we play the merkat offense, we will lose. We will know the first series.

Sounds about right. Based on the overall numbers.

I think our defense is trending in the right direction though and the game will be a toss up.
