I've seen the employees at my gym use these and i want one to use around the house and on my hardwood floors.
I see online that Dyson, Shark, and Bissell seem to all have great vaccums, but needing help narrowing it down to something under $200.
Something like this. TIA.
Nb4 "my wife is the vacuum jokes" and "my maid cleans"

My mom swears by the higher end Dyson. I've used it a few times at her house and it's pretty damned powerful.
You won't regret spending more for a good warranty and product.

We have the Dyson V10 and it’s amazing. We were going to go for the V7 or V8 but the battery life was almost doubled and we actually needed it.
We bought it at Costco FWIW

I have the Dyson V8 and it is awesome, definitely worth the price. Compact, powerful, and can be used for pretty much any task with the various attachments.

My maid fortunately doesnt need a cord.

We eventually got the v10 after messing around with Sharks and a couple of different robots. I'm sure the Roombas/etc. work well if your house is set up right, but it's easier for us to do a quick 5 minute vacuum with the Dyson than mess with anything else.
We had a couple of sharks previously and one was good while the other sucked. I do think the high end shark competitors are probably solid, but TBH shelling out for a Dyson is one of the best "this is way more than I want to pay for an everyday item" returns we've ever gotten.

Dyson's good, but I'm still trying to find the gold they hid in it.

Get a fusion & they are usually on a Black Friday sale if you can wait that long.
We’ve had 2 of them, first one that came out & the V8 model. Like someone said in an earlier post, get the extra warranty. They are rechargeable and will fail at some point in the 2-3 yr range.

I got a robot to do it so I don't have to but that's more than $200

Shark is better than the Dyson offerings, especially for the money but if you only want a good cordless stick vac for hard floors then get the Makita brushless 18V vacuum. It's legitimately more powerful than anything Dyson, Shark, Bissell, etc. offer and you have the option to get high capacity batteries. You can buy the Makita vac, a combo drill kit, and extra batteries and still have money leftover than if you bought a Dyson V12.

Put me in the Dyson category. On our second one.

Sounds like the new vacuum won’t be the only thing that sucks around your house

Same. Our died really early, maybe 9 months after we bought it and they next day air’d one to us.

Dyson and Bissell are great, in my opinion. My syster has that dyson one and she loves it. So lightweight and easy to get around.
I have a Eufy robot vacuum myself, which I also love. If your house is friendly enough for it (ie, not too many cords laying around, shag carpets, or stuff to get in the way), this might be a great option too. It runs for a long time on it's battery and you can set it on a schedule so it just regularly cleans your house with you even having to think about it! Mine was about $200. Pretty great.
