I’ll probably be at the bullpen for Friday. Went to the WC game and game 4 against the Cards so far.

Astros are 1-3 in Verlander's starts this post season. Yikes.

It's baseball. Isn't over yet. Just frustrating.

It kinda feels like they wanted to beat the Yankees so badly, they’ve lost the competitive edge now that they’ve accomplished that.

It kinda feels like since the Nationals won 6 in a row before they started this series that maybe they are the better team at this time.

Was at GOAT. Will be at the bullpen Friday, going to be an insane atmosphere. Will buy game 5 ticket if we lose game 3, will buy game 4 if we win game 3/ tickets have pretty much doubled though. Tickets shot up from 600 to 1100

shoulda went ahead and both tickets to both games and figured it out later lol. could have easily sold the tickets to game you ultimately do not go to

We aren’t talking about the Nationals, bud. We are talking about the Astros and the lack of fire they are showing.

Nationals are playing better baseball. If you truly think the nationals are a significantly better team than the Astros, that is your opinion to have.

In the meantime, in the Astros thread, we would like to discuss why the team with the best record in baseball this season has lost their edge.

Not enough free space deleted from previously recorded opposing team's pitchers signals?

So, they can't get these Nationals pitchers to "tip their pithes"

They’ve had cracks all year, they’re not a very good hitting team compared to the talent level. For every 23 run game against the Orioles there were 5 or 6 two run games to follow it up. If they can’t hit a HR they can’t score.

Last year it was injuries that got us at playoff time.

This year it's a team slump at the worst possible time. Truly home run dependent because we're absolutely atrocious with RISP.

No excuses, wake up before it's too late (if it isn't already).

It's not too late.

They took 4/5 to beat the NYY... they can do it again against the Nats.
