That's really nice. Now get ready for those teenage years. That's where the ride gets fun......and crazy at times. I see you are raising him right.

Hats off to you LSURussian

BTW: you're kinda hawt. Your hubby is a lucky man.
For the record, I didn't know Grrrl was such a hottie until today when I watched her video. (Grrrl, please don't #MeToo me for saying that.....)

I mention this just to be clear I had NO ulterior motives when I gave her some tips on how to deal with Russian bureaucrats....

Goldmill. It's from Rocky and not hard to remember lol.

And I actually commented already in this thread about how cool this was and gave kudos to Russian.

Not gonna lie, I cried a little knowing how much of a difference you guys will make in that child's life. I know people who around the same time adopted 2 kids from Russia. The stories they told of how the children were treated makes you appreciate everything you have in life here.

The one story that sticks out the most was when they visited the orphanage where their eventual children were housed, when it came time to eat. The adults basically just put the food on the table and it was a free for all for who could grab and inhale the most food as fast as you could. He referenced it to dropping dog food on the floor with a pack of dogs and watch them eat.

Just makes you sad to know how many kids need love in their lives and never get it.

I think this is my favorite thread ever viewed here.

Congratulations on your family and kudos to Russian.
