Was anyone else shocked at how easily Fulton was caught from behind on the interception?

I was shocked at how the defense would make two big stops on 1st and 2nd down and then proceed to give up 3rd and long multiple times throughout the game.

According to the “draft experts” straight line speed is one of his only weaknesses

He was out of the game earlier. He wasn’t 100%.

Possible the ankle injury from earlier in the game was hampering him and that’s not his true top-end speed.

Nah, he kept looking behind him and seemed to be off balance for the last 20 yards or so. It wasn't exactly an even race.

At that point he had been on the field for 88 plays. Can’t imagine his legs would be a little dead

Let someone roll up on your ankle. See how fast you run . Try it and see how it works.

This.

He had asked to come out a few plays before this. He was gassed.

He was gassed. He took himself out about 3 plays earlier. He had just re-entered the game on that play.

Considering he took himself out multiple times that night I would go to bet he wasnt feeling 100%

On another note, that roughing the passer call against Brooks was horseshite. Roughing the passer would be forcible contact to the knee area or below the Knee. Brooks hit him in the hips. I couldn't believe it was called.

A lot easier to sprint to catch up to someone than it is to sprint when looking for blocks or holes to run through.

I also agree with others who said that he was still a little banged up from his injury and the number of plays causing dead legs.

I'll take a pick with a guy getting tackled around the 50 over a punt that gives LSU possession around the 15 or 20.

This. He was taking himself all night bc he gassed. He needs to get in better shape. I didn't see Stingley or any of the other DBs asking to come out.

Such a BS call but if I’m Fulton that play is still getting added to my highlight reel!
