He’s a defensive back that had a sore ankle. How would you feel making cuts and digging on a sore ankle lol

I've done it. Albeit not on the same level but either you can play or not, so if he was just subbing out bc he was in pain, he shouldn't have returned to the game. I'm sure they shot that ankle up with cortisone so he probably couldn't feel much.

Now, he may be out of shape bc he has been trying to let his ankle heal, which is understandable, but he still needs to get in shape before BAMA. I don't want Flott or Ward coming in to try and cover Ruggs or Smith.

It was the 4th quarter and he had been running wind sprints for 3 hours.

I was shocked at how the defense would make two big stops on 1st and 2nd down and then proceed to give up 3rd and long multiple times throughout the game.

Don't be shocked, that's just 3rd and Aranda

At that point he had been on the field for 88 plays. Can’t imagine his legs would be a little dead

I think it is more this than his ankle. Ankle injury would affect him more changing direction or taking off, than top end speed.

I think he was prob a little tired, but mostly him looking back the whole time and losing his balance.

Regardless, he played his arse off Saturday night. Enough so, that Mullen saw it in the first half and decided to pick on Stingley in the second half.

Yeah . . . he hit a wall there about 20 yards into his return. Under normal circumstances, that's a pick 6.

all of you are wrong, he didn't come out in the previous plays because he was tired, his hamstring was tight, he even said it on instagram

even if he wasnt gassed or had a sore ankle i still think he knew he was going to be caught

he practically had running start and the wr was still able to catch him in 40yards

Seems like he didn't have a good grip on the ball for a split second and it moved around in his arms. Looking back also slowed him down.

He was gassed and tweaked his ankle.

I'm surprised he got as far as he did

not at all. Florida's WRs are extremely athletic, and Fulton slowed down at the end to make sure not to fumble. He probably could've gotten another 10 yards. 80 yards is pretty damn far with a receiver right behind you the whole way

He's probably not quite 100%. And Florida has receivers with legit speed too that can run with anybody.
