And I keep thinking Texas will win on Saturday.

I expect to see Texas load the box and force Hurts to throw from the pocket.

I'm surprised Texas is such a big underdog in this game.

Hurts hasn't had the best protection I will say but the problem with him are his wheels. He'll scramble if he doesn't see what he wants. He's not going to sit in the pocket and just wait for receivers to get open.

But for once you and I agree, I think Texas will give them more of a game than the pundits are saying.

I'm pulling for Texas. I feel dirty saying that, but it is what it is.

LSU doesn’t need any help. Win the conference and they are in the playoffs.

It only would matter if we lose to Florida. then we’d only drop to like 7 or 8 probably. not interested in losing to Florida anyway

Texas secondary is decimated. That’s the main reason they are underdogs.

considering they have no DBs left, this would be a bad idea

Any loss of an unbeaten, higher ranked team would help with CFP selection if LSU goes 11-1 for the year.

that is how he beat aranda in 2017.

we stopped their north-south run game and horizontal pass game. hurts' worst option, vertical pass game beat us.

oh wait you were not a fan then huh?

A Texas win is irrelevant. An Alabama win, a Florida win, an A&M win, an Auburn win...

these matter
Texas no longer matters.
Unless you're happy not being in the CFP.

Hurts is gonna carve up their defense. It’ll be a shootout

Haven't you heard? Flotts is out. We're turning to our third best freshman. Oh...you were writing about Texas?

Am I the only one who thinks this won't be close? I think OU beats the pants off of Texas.

I say that not because OU is a better team than we were (because our game was "close"), but because we were very close to beating the pants off of Texas.

Up 20-7 with the ball to start the second half. We score a touchdown there, I don't think Texas ever comes back and LSU dominates the rest of the evening.

With Texas' depleted defense, I don't think they stop OU much. There is no "coming back" in this game.

I don't know what it is but I just have this feeling that OU is about to just beat the hell out of them.
