GMC strait up copied the F150 headlamp design. At least Dodge is original. Very, very ugly, but original.

a Sierra

i'm just being a dick.
I don't mind how they look, although the inside needs an upgrade.
But i'm being serious, pay attention on the road to who's driving Sierra's, and you'll see an awful lot of old guys.

Through age comes wisdom...maybe you youngsters should pay more attention to that fact.

GM hasn’t exactly made it a secret that GMC targets an older demo while Chevy targets younger.

You can even see it in the styling and pricing/options.

Yeah, like a tailgate that turns into a step ladder b/c you’re too old to jump into the back.

Why jump when you can step?

eta-Contrary to popular belief around here, not all Sierra's come with the nifty tailgate. Just high end versions.

Great idea except for the whole trailer hitch thing.

I just bought a Silverado last week after looking at the Sierra. Sierra 4X4 SLT Premium was about $42000 while Silverado 4X4 LTZ with 6.2L, Technology package (heads up display) was $43,500. The same setup in a Sierra would have cost $47000

People who leave their receiver hitches in their trucks are too lazy to climb into the back for anything anyways....

Or, like me, they use them daily. Just a poor design by GM, almost amazingly stupid. I will say that is the nice thing about my F150, it has the step in the tailgate. Didn't buy it for that option, but it does come in handy from time to time.

Most people that want/own a truck don't need it.

Most people own cars they don’t really need.

How many people need more than a Kia econobox?

Then skip the option and use the bumper step.

But you prefer inferior products anyway, so stick with the Ford.

90% of the OT would get by just fine in a Subaru Outback with a trailer hitch.

Ford is making the best 1/2 ton truck and by far, the best 3/4 ton diesel truck.

They are the market leader for many reasons; cab design, technology, performance, resale value.

Not to to say they're perfect, but facts are facts.

Man, I said I was done with this thread for this reason.

Most popular is absolutely not equal to "the leader", sure, Ford has the numbers game lead right now and the 6.7 is no joke but for the people that get over their ego and actually drive a 6.7 Cummins will let you know that you can't beat the inline 6 torque curve. Just watch all the hotshot truck drivers and let me know what the tally is at the of the day f-350 vs 3500

But that's what these threads always turn into is pure preference.
