On The Possibility Of Violence....

It makes perfect sense that Progressives/ Leftists erroneously think they have cornered the market on political violence. History however, says differently. They have in fact only cornered the market on orchestrated Street Theatre violence, State-sponsored mass violence and public intolerance.

The Democrats are committed to replacing American traditions, principles, ideals and Institutions with whatever Marxist emotion moves them at any given moment. For three years we have witnessed Democrats and their media/social media foot soldiers challenge something as basic and fundamental as the peaceful transfer of power. And now they are attempting to invalidate an election, and negate the executive branch of government. Not to mention the disenfranchisement ( politically and culturally) of the citizens of 30 states.

Now I’m not justifying or glorifying the violence that will inevitably ensue from this. I’m just telling you you are a Pollyanna if you don’t think there are Americans out there who are in fact locked and loaded . A small minority of those who are likely itching to get started based on the Never- ending Progressive agitation they are now completely BOMBARDED with on a daily basis. A quick perusal of the culture should confirm the Never- ending amount of Americans who are willing to harm or kill their neighbors. These people are on every side of the political spectrum.

And THAT is the risk you take when you refuse to share the country with those you disagree with. That is the risk you take when intolerance, ridicule and harassment becomes your Creed. That is the error that The Democrats are making. They believe a violent backlash is impossible because they currently own that ground ( Antifa, Republican softball games, Republican Senators mowing their grass, cop shootings etc ) and Republicans are the kind of people who clean up after protests rather than breaking things.

That’s a fundamental misreading of both American history and the American character. When you keep poking a man in the chest, eventually , for better or worse, that man will react. And make no mistake, in this culture, that man Is relentlessly getting poked in the chest, insulted, marginalized, coerced, punished, defamed , etc . And when that man reacts , nobody, whether they be a member of the Ruling Class, a 24/7 News cycle media superstar or an angry , half-witted celebrity will be insulated from the violence they are so busy fomenting. This is the ugly truth of where the Democrats have dragged us in September 2019.
