That whole sequence is one of the most epic, most cinematic sequences ever in a game. I had a save before it that I never overwrote, I went back and played it many times

Not necessarily a cut scene and certainly not the greatest graphics by today's standards but the opening to FF8 considering the graphics at the time was pretty great.

Not the greatest, but my favoritesare from HL2 and HL2:E2. Just because the game sort of changed my life in '05.

I don't know if it's the GOAT but the nuke actually going off and killing you in COD4 was surreal. I was watching someone playing it on 360 in a small room crowded with a bunch of other people when it first came out. We were all just shocked and completely silent for what seemed like forever.
It's probably the FF7 intro for me though since that made me get a PS1.

The opening of Red Alert 2 comes to mind as a good one. Only one I can remember relatively well, but I did play C&C when I was like 10.

That scene of Zidane running out the petrified forest and Blank chunking him that scroll blew 10 year old me away back then lol, still legit. Also, the ff8 scene with squall running on the beach from that big mech crab and quistis popping up from the sub with a big machine gun turret to save him was the shite
