re: When did our culture quit producing men that would “do what’s right”?

I agree...
I've long said that the education system in this Country has been infected with an immoral and Marxist/socialistic agenda. Educate the young in your teachings so that the grow to oppose and rebel against those who differ from what they've been indoctrinated into believing!

To only see things in binary is a sub human trait.
When I was a young man NOBODY that I knew thought this way. So sad that when I person has morals in todays world they are ridiculed.

But you ignored my examples. Are they binary or not? You don’t believe there’s such a thing as clear lines when it comes to values?

It wasn't a very good one anyways.

Please elaborate then
I was making the point that despite the claim that binary ethics are somehow sub-human, most people believe in black and white, at least sometimes.

Hush, adults are talking.

There might be clear lines an individual believes in but it is specific only to them.
There are no universal values that are absolutely correct.
Murder is probably the most grievous example but there are a bunch of soldiers walking around right now who put a bullet in another human.
What is an absolute value?

Then you should probably present some adult ideas.

It's unfortunate that you'd boil the entirety of human morality to a single sentence.

Now...as an adult with kids...I understand and realize that all we have is our God given sense of right and wrong to guide us.
That sense of right and wrong is completely subjective. So at the end of the day, there's really no such thing as a collective and universal right and wrong.

If you’re a nihilist then your position makes perfect sense and answers the op’s question. We’ve gotten to this point because people like yourself are more numerous.
I’ve never met an actual nihilist, though.

Actually it’s not.
You don’t abuse your position in govt for personal gain, you don’t lie, you don’t kill people for personal gain, you don’t use a govt position for personal gain, you adhere to the oath of office you take....
Should I continue?

Nah, Hitchens was intelligent. Angry and wrong, but he at least argued reasonably. Dawkins less so.
DB is neither.

Well....I’m not a religious guy by any stretch. But as a basis it hard to argue against the 10 Commandments as the fundamental rule of law that has evolved from antiquity to outline the rules of western civilization.

I put a lot of blame on church's chasing the bodies to fill coffers for bigger churches, etc.
Growing up there was nothing that deserved more respect than the House of God. My dad made sure we understood that. You wore your "Sunday best", etc. Now you go to church with people looking like the just rolled out of bed or hanging out at the mall. The church use to be our guiding moral compass, and it no longer is. Therefore, how do people learn the moral decorum our society use to have??
Fore goodness sake, I heard that there is a fairly large amount of young people that don't know who Moses is. Ie...they don't know what the 10 Commandments are. The foundation of our moral compass.

Liberals have controlled the education system for decades, they started to indoctrinate young boys in the PC and moral relativism.

I agree, but the church let themselves get dupped. Acting like Dems when it comes to the Constitution, and it being a fluid document. The church has let the Bible to be treated the same way. The gay attack on Christianity is a pure sign of that.
