They cancelled my ISD after some of the kids had been picked up this morning.

These threads always turn in to a shite show of bickering and are very hard to follow. I wish chicken would allow multiple threads instead of everything compressed in to one

Are they building a high-speed rail from Pearland to IAH in July 2020?

Houston ISD is starting to get blasted in the national media. Weather channel and USAToday have articles up already about students getting stuck.

Checking in from Shady Acres (Greater Heights). We have a little water in the ditch but otherwise no damage thankfully.

I’m in shady acres at 24th and Bevis and we were around a foot. The Kroger on Shep is a madhouse currently.

I am on a boat canal in Nassau Bay. I think the water level in the canal has risen 6" max over the last 3 days. Lots of rain but it seems to have drained out quickly.

17th and Shepherd. No flooding, but we didnt have any food. Took a while to find a place that was open and doesn’t have a massive line.

HEB on Shepherd was extremely easy to get in and out of. Not much else open in terms of restaurants and bars if you’re stir crazy.
