Good natured setting the a/c on ?
I’m not sure that’s logical. This is no time to go soft boys. They must pay the price

If any Texas fans stay with me next year, I’ll certainly be setting the A/C wherever they sleep at 80degrees...at least for their initial arrival!

Just to be funny tho. Not out of spite.

I have no doubt that there were a-hole Texas fans that acted like shite towards our fans. It wasn’t everywhere, and certainly not the norm, but it did happen. That being said, *some* of our fans do that shite too after a long day of drinking. It’s not school specific and it’s certainly a part of college football. Bottom line, don’t be dicks to opposing fans, unless they’re asking for it.

Totally agree

same

They ignored us all weekend and the fans we sat by in the stadium were very friendly. Most of the fans sitting by us said they were coming to BR next year. I expect a lot of Texas fans in TS next season.

Speaking of MM...he and the sad/angry kid are getting some meme treatment:

I 100 percent agree. Aside from booing our players who got injured (which from their standpoint I understand why it looked like we were faking some of those), they were probably the classiest opposing fans I've ever met at an away game.

I've never had so many people come up to me after a game and shake my hand telling me they hope we win the rest of our games this years.

There was a lot of respect between both fan bases for a battle of blue bloods and I hope we reciprocate the treatment next year in Baton Rouge.

have to agree, did not encounter one bad texas fan the whole entire day, actually, they went out of their way to welcome us to austin and were very hospitable.

very pleasant experience was had, even better with the win.

if anything, there were a few LSU fans in 108 acting like assholes to the UT fans around them

An old man got in my 15 year old daughters face at the game and told her to stop cheering. She was cheering for her team and was traumatized by the actions of one a-hole; however she kept cheering for our Tigers .

Old man was lucky that I was held back by my wife and the alcohol or else I would have only heard the rest of the game from the police station across the street.

We were treated to the game by some awesome longhorns friends and we will re-pay their generosity next year at TS!

Every fanbase has their bad apples. No matter how pleasant they may see themselves, after drinking all day shite happens.

I pretty much had the same experience as JPL. Fans were nice and cordial before and after the game. Some asked about how they would be treated if they went to Tiger Stadium and unfortunately I had to tell them that for the most part they would be treated very good but we did have some ahole fans that could get out of line.

The very worst we got was a couple light hearted "LSU SUCKS" said very tamely in our direction. Their fans were the easily the friendliest I had been around. We sat in the club level and an old Texas baw even bought us our first round of $60 drinks. They are alright in my book.

Has not a single reply mentioned the obvious answer to why the Texas Fans were nice to you?

They wanted your sweet butthole.

I was with a lifelong Texas fan from New Braunfels. A random Texas fan wanted to fight HIM at the crosswalk after the game b/c my buddy wouldn't agree that LSU cheated to win(the cramps).

Just like any proud fanbase of a big university, Texas has some tards out there.

Just because you were alright doesn’t mean all LSU fans were.I’ve been to over 20 LSU away games sometimes without one ill word.I can go back to the stadium five years later and get in a fight it all depends on the situation. Bottom line is stay away from the students they’re the assholes

Why are you using what the administration did in terms of tix and seating to compare your experience with fans? Would have made more sense if people were talking bad about the fans and you came to say that isn't what you experienced at all.

orn fans were into their team big time and mainly indifferent to us, but not offensive except for booing injured players. Great experience. The “minister of Culture” is a douche and sore loser.

They aren't booing injured players. They were booing the perception that LSU players were faking injury to give the defense a rest.
