Make him OC and pay him $2.5 m.

Yes, he may leave LSU as the passing game coordinator to become the LSU full-time OC.
It would be like the movie Money Ball where CEO is offering to use part of his salary to keep him. He isn't going anywhere.

I hope he is our OC next year. It would make such sense with him being up there with Coach E, learn how to playcall and get used to being in that position and have Steve there to guide him. Once he's ready, coach E can get back to whatever he'd like to do and Brady can take the reins
I have to think this was the plan all along. Ensminger has said multiple times he didn’t want to be oc, but was just doing what was asked of him.

Totally agree, Something had to be known when hire was made, I think we retain him

Did this same buddy also predict Texas to win?

DGAS about your Texas buddy!

Having lived in Atlanta for a long time.. this is the stuff the Georgia fans say each year LSU has any success. Georgia fans explain to,us that they are better than LSU at every position and in every way. The only reason we beat them 36 to 16 was Kirby quit running the ball. And Fromm did not sleep well or other blah blah blah... head to head blow outs do not matter because they played better against Alabama blah blah blah.

The fact of the matter is other schools want us to lose coaches like Brady!
Why wouldn't they want this?

We should stop letting the whole world know he’s responsible for the new offense.
Yeah sure. It's a secret that no one else in college football is aware of, not even all the tv shows, tv talking heads and internet publications. We'll be fine. Ensminger/Brady will continue to modernize/expand/tweak the offense over the season. OTOH, just this year we're talking about how much more Coach Aranda can do here in his 4th year whereas Brady/Ensminger have been working on this offense less than one year. Just think what it can evolve into, especially as recruiting begins to target players designed for this offense. After the season's over we'll give Brady a raise. If things and personalities work out right, I wouldn't be surprised if he became an "Offensive Coordinator in waiting" (although it may be kept a secret). Brady's done a nice job so far, but there's a lot we don't know about him that falls upon the OC, things like staff relations, recruiting, administrative duties and others.

I think E is getting a raw deal here. Yes some of the formations are different, but the one major change that the offense has is a capable and seasoned QB that, most importantly, the coaches trust to throw the ball.

Exactly, a strong-arse offer and he'll stay.

I'm sure your Texas buddy claimed they were going to beat us Saturday too.

He said Brady calls the plays. You said that may not be true. Elaborate on this? what could he have heard differently? Enlighten me.
Oh my. Don’t you feel a little stupid. You could avoid all of this by paying attention.
O of course had to clarify because of morons like you

They're both on the headsets. Steve makes the final call, but sometimes Joe makes the call. It's all up to Steve. Steve makes about 90% of the call
Now. Back to the OP. Brady has a lot to show before a big time program entrusts their offense and program to him

Well Texas fans said Saban was in the bag in 2013 as well. Tsips will Tsips

Texas fans are butthurt here in Houston. They can’t stop roasting LSU about the cramps. I am like.. dude scoreboard.. it’s over. Losers have a tendency to to cling onto something to make them feel good about taking the L

Sounds like sour grapes and wishful thinking from your Texas buddy
