We are making him the Hot Commodity he is. Joe B is making him . Chase, JJ and TM is making him. Next year will tell the tale about Joe Brady. How good can he be wo Joe B. He’ll get paid here if he’s all that.

See, and I see the opposite from a lot of our fan base. I'm genuinely shocked at how many people think he does absolutely nothing for our offense.

It's not like it matters though. He will be here next year. Probably as OC, and we will see how he does with Brennan, a transfer, or whoever else we have at QB.

Some of you are right about something though. The second year will be very telling.

What school would he go to for an OC job when he’s the OC right now technically at a blue blood football program?

We lost Jimbo and Herman to money.

I think we offered Herman 6 million. He got 5 at Texas his first year. But I believe Alleva ended up taking the offer off the table after the story leaked.

I want Coach E to stay for that very reason. We need to throw the checkbook at Brady next year but if we can't keep him with offering him the OC job, which I doubt Coach E would be upset about, then I want E there to pass this system along to whoever else we bring in and not lose what we've learned.

Did you tell your Buddy LSU/TAF has an extra 10-15 Million to play with now that they aren’t subsidizing the School itself.......

SE contract was extended recently. He will be OC in 2020. There is a lot Brady needs to learn to be full time OC. He will get the job when he is ready.

Steve was extended exactly 1 year......Until March 2020 if I’m not mistaken....

I’d definitely be more comfortable with SE bringing Brady along for atleast one more year

The Texas snobs think they’re better than everybody.

In actuality, they have drank the ‘weird and out there’ Koolaid

Agreed. I love Brady but realistically we need to see if he can make adjustments during a game before we anoint him the Second Coming. After Saturday's game, every DC on our schedule will be game-planning to stop him. Will he be able to adjust and succeed against these coaches?

LSU has always paid their assistants as well or better than any school starting with Saban and that has continued. So to that point we'll pay.

But there are other factors. He could go on to be an NFL OC and the trend of hiring these young and innovative coaches is on the rise...a D-1 school could take a chance on him. He is certainly the flavor of the month right now.

I could easily see him getting the LSU OC gig. I never thought Ensminger really wanted the OC gig and has no ego apparently as he pretty much let the kid come in an blow up his offense and start over.

A lot of factors come in to play but in most scenarios it's hard to see him here more than 2-3 years if he keeps having the success he is.

the only way i see this happening is if he is offered a NFL OC job...other than that i believe he would make more money and have more fun at LSU as the OC
