I’m not saying I don’t believe in miracles but man that sure is a convenient miracle for that church.
That's kinda the definition of a miracle if you think about it.

One would think the magic eternal beings that hold sway over our physical world could do better than some extra virgin (get it?) olive oil dripping down a painting if they wanted to make a point.
Member when God would do things like send plagues of frogs, or turn rivers to blood, or murder entire armies by drowning them?
Staining a painting just seems a bit lackluster now

Makes me question his commitment to being The Almighty at this point.

I am an average poster. A legend produced by hearsay and scarcity. If you expect great things from my posts, you will be let down. If you place your trust in God, your life will be exalted.

She might be crying because her son allows 1 year olds to have leukemia.
He also allows miraculous recoveries, families to be reunited, addicts to recover, and couples to fall in love.
Or maybe you only attribute bad things to God because that's your view of him.

The rant you left with was epic. I can only imagine the scathing you’d deliver to peons like me now

No one deserves leukemia. We live in an imperfect world full of suffering.

So you are saying God is bi-polar or just a neutral party watching the shite show he created? Sure he created good, and you can't have good without bad to compare it to. However, saying that god does not willingly allow the deaths of innocents, or that the grief and strife left in the wake of their death is all part of some "plan" is not comforting in the least, to anyone.

Probably a upper floor sewer issue. Some toilet water leaking out.

Give me 1 passage in the bible saying life on earth would be fair.

God damn (used especially for you) that's a call back. I mean, you're wrong...but it's a good call back.
Good news...no one cares anymore about posting religious threads...at least if you're on the "correct" side, so you should be good to go with your routine.

I fully understand your anger toward God and disbelief. There is no logic nor persuasion from any words that will change your views as a result of the tragedy that befell your life one score ago. My heart weeps at your loss. I pray daily for you that you will find peace.

I appreciate the kind words, but please know that my disbelief came many many years ago. Basically, I disbelieved as a child. I am one, as they say, that was created unable to believe things on faith. I have no anger towards any gods...I simply do not think they exist. Nothing more complicated than that.
FWIW, I always enjoyed those old religious debates we'd all have on here. Truly a shame that those got taken away...
