... has become a caricature of himself.. he’s like a sad professional wrestler from the 80s who’s doing what they call ‘living the gimmick’, where they transform into their weird persona over the years.. i like some of his movies, but get real dude.

He's a hell of a guy. His fan club manager used to live here in Zachary. Matt would come stay like twice a year and loved it here. Would go to Zachary football and baseball games and support the kids. He's a very nice guy.

My uncle lived near him in Tarrytown, back when we called him Matthew McConaughey the actor from Dazed and Confused...he was the exact same way but more bongos and more weed. He was a goldmine for school fundraisers because he would also open up the food when we brought it over and let us feast

Just because he's a weird Tejas fan doesn't make me dislike him.
He is a proven and excellent actor, mega star, educated and intelligent and has been generous with his money.
Three of my favorite movies of all time are Dazed and Confused, Frailty and Reign of Fire. Those movies would not have been anywhere near as good as they are without MM.
I don't have a weird Tom Herman man-crush on him in any way, but the dude is still one of my favorite actors, just like the Undertaker is still one of my favorite wrestlers back when it was WWF and actually watchable.
