Yeah, and we’d have to probably import oil again, which further drains the economy if American wealth, and makes us less safe, and have to spread military out more, or other countries will gobble up the reserves elsewhere. Liawatha would kill the economy to achieve her carbon goal, and the poor will be affected the most. Cheap oil runs everything, economy crashes under a Dem, with no jobs or growth, just watch....

It's probably more than that. I bet it'd be at least half a million people just in the energy industry, and that's not even counting the ancillary and downstream losses.

Setting aside “offshore” for a moment, can a POTUS (or the federal government in general) DO this? For instance, would the legality of fraccing in Texas not be determined by the Railroad Commission, as opposed to the feds?
