Jeff Duncan was the only talking head with this prediction.

He said last year that the next QB after Brees will be Taysom Hill. I told my friends the same exact thing. I cannot believe some of the respected press from New Orleans feels otherwise. I will go even further and say that Taysom Hill will be the reason that our great coach Sean Payton stays with the Saints for the Hill ride. Do you football fans realize what the Saints have in this player? Look left, look right, no I will not dump off to the RB this time. I will tuck in under, eat up yardage, and maybe blow up a defender. Jesus Mary and Joseph !! Do you know what that does for his teammates in that huddle !!!! I love this sob !!! What a football player. When Drew retires, Payton will roll with Hill until he proves all of the country his not a winning QB. I believe he will succeed.

Great, this narrative is back. Payton isn't going to quit just because Brees retires. He's still considered a young coach, and has more power than any other coach not named Belichick

Yeah let me know how that’s working after a half or two of football. If hill is out qb then CSP has convinced the team to try and tank for Trevor Lawrence. Since CSP/ pro football players will never willingly tank it’s not happening.

I'm no expert but to me, Taysom looks great when he just has to pull back and sling it downfield. But it's the touch passes that always look kinda meh to me. The short stuff, particularly to guys coming across the formation, always seems too low, too high, too fast, or too soft to me. I mean that's all stuff he can work on, but it doesn't look to me like it's there yet.

You can't say that after last week this dude is the new Steve Young if you haven't heard already.

He's like a white Michael Vick....but morally upright and smarter. The dude is a freakin' weapon. Say what you want, but he is.
