Do all that stuff but be sure to walk up the hill to the Indian Mounds. A lot of us up there and we like to share/show off our food and appreciate friendly banter with the opposition.

God I hated living in Georgia having to hear crayfish and crawdaddies.

Go see Mike the Tiger. But just walk around and soak it all in. Welcome some friendly “tiger baits” along the way. We usually follow it up with a cold beverage or some hot food!!

Don't think you guys have the market cornered on hot and humid. It's been over 100 everyday this week with 100% humidity.

Heat index easily over 100 for a week straight in a Statesboro. To quote Peggy Hill, “This place should not exist. It’s a monument to man’s arrogance.”

We will be in that lot. Not boiling crawfish but I am boiling some shrimp. Next best thing. Follow the smell and stop by and try some.

Had to do some actual work the last several hours, but I thought I 'd come back and read some of the comments. First off, the heat and gnats are what we're used to in Southeast Georgia, so it's "home game weather" for us. As far as food goes, I hear yall do it up right, and I can't wait to hang out with a few of your finer fans. Jerks? Yes we have them just like you do. If you run across any of our brethren acting the fool, find us and we'll do our best to fix the problem. Kids can be idiots, for either fanbase. In the meantime, we're excited about coming to play LSU. Being a big school for so long, you may not understand our excitement, but all of these "FBS big stage" games and atmospheres are new and exciting to us. That said, it's all fun and games until we tee it up, then we will play to win. Most of us feel we have don't have a prayer, but I think we have a puncher's chance if LSU aint ready to play. Our kids will be sky high for this one, because well, it's the next one and because it's mighty LSU.

I saw that in a Publix in Florida and couldnt even process what I was looking at. Corn and red peppers in gumbo!? Literally no one does that.

Just wanted to send my greetings to all the LSU Tiger fans from me, GSUsTALON.

You do know that GSU will win by 3 points.

How do I know this.

Because I'm TALON and your not!

If you're driving, bring a cooler to take back some cajun foods - let me know if interested and I can give you some recommendations.

I am looking forward to game, football season cannot get here any faster. As a Georgia Southern football fan I expect GS to win the game. I know that most Tiger fans feel this game will be just a tune up game to get ready for Texas.

Hail Southern
