Just wanted to send a big hello to all the LSU fans here from ValleyBoy. I will no be able to make it to the game but I do know that Pike51 & oldfart will will bring a True Blue GATA attitude to Baton Rouge. Just a little information about ValleyBoy. ValleyBoy grewup as a fan of Auburn. The first college football game that ValleyBoy attended was an LSU win over Auburn in the rain down on the Plains. I believe that was during the 1970 football season. ValleyBoy was also at Ya'll game down on the Plains when for some reason Ya'll decided to throw FOUR pick sixes. ValleyBoy really enjoyed that game. Also even though ValleyBoy is a True Blue Georgia Southern football fan ValleyBoy did not attend Georgia Southern but attended Troy. That's right the Same Troy that left Baton Rouge will a very big WIN over the LSU Bengal Tigers. ValleyBoy expects nothing less from this years Georgia Southern football team.
Hail Southern
GATA
Hail Southern
GATA

Justin Wilson was from Mississippi, get that bull shite out of here
ValleyBoy might be from the Great State of Alabama but you sir are incorrect. You would be correct if your university was know as Mississippi State University at Baton Rouge which is not.
Justin Wilson was born, lived, died, and buried in Louisiana. An I did not have to stay in a Holiday Inn Express to know this, why is that it is because I am ValleyBoy.

Nail meet head. Valley is unique. We will leave it at that.

Justin Wilson was born and raised on the Mississippi line. He is no more Cajun than you are ... third person valley boy.

...you sure he doesn't go to Georgia State. Hard for me to believe many, or any, Southern students would forget we have a football team. It's a pretty big deal down here.
Excuse me and my lack of manners. Thank you admins for allowing us Eagle fans to come visit your board for a few weeks. I'll be making the trip to Baton Rouge (with wife in tow), and look forward to checking off one of my CFB bucket list items...a night game in Death Valley.
And as many other larger fan bases have learned, we expect to win. Every single game. We normally travel very well, and often catch opposing teams off guard that just 10k-20k away fans (probably not that many for this one...too much travel for many) can make so much noise. If it's not a blowout, expect us to really add to the already incredible atmosphere.
Also, you will find times in the game where we get a 3 yard run, and both of our fan bases will clap. We love and live by the dive. You will also find times in the game where you may get lulled to sleep watching our offense, until there's a speeding bullet heading down the sideline or receiver standing alone in the end zone.
One more thing...we do host probably the best pair of corners in all of G5, and one of the best pair in the nation. Kindle Vildor and Monquavian Brinson will both be playing on Sundays, and Vildor can hold his own against just about anybody. He pretty much dominated against Clemson last year.
With all that being said, we know who we're playing. We know where we are playing. We know this isn't a down year. We know the Tigers have had all spring and summer to get ready for us. WVU admitted to spending a significant amount of time preparing for us, and had one of the best defensive performances I've ever seen against an option team. If LSU does the same, it will get ugly...but I know your next opponent probably has most of the attention.
But, we just hope that that group of 18-22 year olds have week 2 circled on their calendars while thinking they have a cupcake game.
Hail Southern and NO PLACE ELSE!

Let it be known far and wide, ValleyBoy is unique but not in that unique way.
But then again what ever floats your boat.

Bless your hearts! Y’all can only afford two letters to spell Geaux!
That’s OK Cher, come on down anyway. We’ll feed y’all some eagle gumbo.

Get ready to have your car flags broken off and have some bourbon thrown on you. Geaux Tigahs.
