Suit or No Suit to Interview

I have an internal interview with my comapny for a supervisor position, should I wear a suit?
The crappy thing is that they set up 3 interviews on 3 different days. One tomorrow, Thursday, and next Tuesday. I only have one suit so I will essentially be wearing the same clothes 3 days, 2 of those being back to back. It is hot as hell here and they make us park a good bit away from my office area.
I currently work in a lab area doing scheduling, other admin type jobs, and filling in for the supervisor when he is out (aka assistant to the supervisor). I wear polo type shirts, casual slacks, and sneakers. Since this is my everyday work wear, should I dress up for the interview?
Please help me O wise OT.

Business casual is acceptable these days.
The only exceptions are high finance and law.

Very Slightly overdressed for the job has served me well.

If it’s really hot you just need a pressed shirt and tie. That’s ok.

Buy a second suit. Not for this interview, just as a non-12 year old.

Just decline the offer now and save yourself the embarrassment.

This. Drop the tie and open the top button. Just make sure your blazer matches your pants in texture so you don't look like a retard.

Wear the suit, but put the tie and jacket on just before the interview. Do you have different button ups and ties that match the suit and jacket?

I think a tux shows just how seriously you are taking this opportunity.
Or shorts and a t shirt to show that even though you're gonna be big shite you just want to be "one of the guys".
But nothing in between.

If you legitimately don't know which is preferred, err with the suit.

I don’t...usually just go with wool slacks, nice shirt, and polished shoes.
No pleats, baw.

Short and a t shirt WITH flip flops... forgot that part badger!
In all seriousness I would wear what you normally wear or what your supervisor wears since you already work there and they know you.... polishing a turd won’t make you less of a turd and they know that!

Always suit and tie.
I’ve been told twice by two former employers that the reason I got the job was because it came down to me and another guy but I wore a suit and the other guy didn’t.
ETA: I’ve also been one of the ones doing the interviewing and when asked for my opinion on the interviewees at the end, unless the person wearing the suit was clearly outmatched or inexperienced compared to those not wearing a suit, I recommend the suit-wearing guy.
Buy a suit. Wear the suit.

I always went with the khaki slacks, white button down, polished brown dress shoes, and blue blazer.
Wear a good watch if you have one. Don’t sweat it. They know you and aren’t going to be focused on your appearance as much as you are.
