A vendor just brought a huge pack of jerky from Bourgeois for our office. I have eaten a lot of Jerky, but man, this stuff is legit. We are in BR, I doubt if anything here locally could compare. Do not pass a chance to try........AWESOME!!

Bro, I eat a lot of homemade Jerky that is really good, but the smoke flavor of this stuff is what I really like. Tender and easy to eat also.

Pro tip: rouses carries it. It is by the butcher in the fridge. It has Rouse's logo but they source it from Bourgeois.

It's too damn expensive to use as a seasoning meat. I have used it in red beans, when I found a few pieces in a baggie stuck in the back of the freezer. It was too hard to gnaw, but def added good smoke flavor to the beans.

The prepackaged stuff and the one direct from the meat market are different. The one from Donalds market doesnt have any preservatives in it.

There’s are reason they’ve been around 100+ years. Don’t know how many generations but it’s a few.

They set the bar really high.

A vendor brought some into our office once. It didn't last long.

I would think even with preservatives, it would be better than most others.

Just ordered some. I'll try the Rouses brand too. Well-made jerky is one of my favorite things.
