I like the beef sticks better than the jerky. Both are great

The rouses on bluebonnet and Perkins doesn’t have but they don’t really have a setup like the others ones. I’ll try Drusilla soon and report back

Graduated with one of the daughters. Always debated trying to date her for this exact reason

You think the jerky is good you need to try the Turkey cheese.

They are good family friends of ours. Really great people. The 2nd generation (think I’m correct on that number) is 94 now and still walks over to the shop and butchers some stuff here and there.

The other Bourgeois' on Tiger Dr has some really good specialty items. Stuffed breads and chickens. Burgers too.

But the originals jerky can't be touched.

If I’m not mistaken, the one on Tiger Dr. is the same family, but more of their commercial sales. Think the one on Tiger is the one that does the vacuum sealed jerky you see in local gas stations.

Yep, Spicy Turkey Cheese is the shite.
I can't buy the Beef Jerky cause I'll sit and eat the whole thing at 1 time. It ain't cheap, but it's awesome.
Everytime I head down to the camp, I get a pound of the STC and 1/2 of Beef Jerky. Add Cold Beer and it simply doesn't get any better.

What I was told is it was two brothers. One wanted to branch out to try other things, the other wanted to remain strictly a butcher so they split.

That's from family in Thibodaux who shop at both often.

That’s correct. No animosity between the two though. They compliment each other’s businesses.

Same. Graduated high school with one of the 4th gen guys and he would always bring jerky and beef sticks to school and parties. Hands down the best and I try to get a hold of some every time I go home.

Found out the gas station off I-10 in Roanoke carries them so I'll grab some on the way back to Houston if I don't go to Houma.
