Les was always a mediocre coach and that has probably only diminished. This will be embarrassing for him and I feel bad because he is a very likable guy with a lot of pride.

In 15 seasons as a head coach he had 1 losing season, his first at a school with a decades old losing history. He had 1 other season winning less than 8 games, he won 7 in his last season at Oki State. Are you another guy who doesn’t know the meaning of mediocre?

That being said, Les has a heck of a hill to climb at Kansas to make them competitive much less a winning program.

WTF. They might win 2 games. It’ll be embarrassing to hear his losing press conferences. They may improve during his 3 yr tenure but it won’t be by much . He never gets to.500

I know y'all don't know much about kansas, and I'm not just saying this as a rival thing, but they are trash. Like, absolute trash. They haven't won more than 3 games in a season this entire decade. I think Les is a good coach, but he has NOTHING to work with.

8/31/19 Indiana State - W, barely. Sycamores are a salty FCS squad. Don't be surprised if they pull out the win with this early kick.
9/7/19 Coastal Carolina - W, because I'm generous. Almost a bowl team last season.
9/13/19 @ Boston College - L, Road game. Don't see it.
9/21/19 West Virginia - L, I could see this one as their lone Big12 win. WV lost a ton of production, new coach, and two Good P5 opponents in the two weeks prior to this game. WV might be due for a let down and let Les get that first Big12 W, but I wouldn't count on it.
9/28/19 @ TCU - L. No way it happens twice in a row.
10/5/19 Oklahoma - L. NOPE
10/19/19 @ Texas - L. Negative
10/26/19 Texas Tech - L, but maybe a chance here. New coach for TTech. Home game.
11/2/19 Kansas State - L. Nah. KState won't let it happen.
11/16/19 @ OK State - L. Nope Gundy's mullet will see to it that the Pokes win.
11/23/19 @ Iowa State - L. Cyclones on the upswing.
11/30/19 Baylor - L. Don't see it.

I feel generous giving the two wins I did. Les would deserve coach of the year if he got this team bowl eligible.

Les is definitely changing the culture. He'll have Pooka in the backfield, but that's not the issue. The issue is the talent level on the lines and at WR. With the way he's recruiting, KU should be bowl eligible in 2021, maybe 2020, but this next year will still probably be a little rough.

8/31/19 Indiana State - W
9/7/19 Coastal Carolina - W
9/13/19 @ Boston College - L - Don't see the win on the road
9/21/19 West Virginia - L
9/28/19 @ TCU - L
10/5/19 Oklahoma - L
10/19/19 @ Texas - L
10/26/19 Texas Tech - W - At home and only because I think Les wins one home conference game this year. Texas Tech with a new coach seems like a solid target
11/2/19 Kansas State - L - Something about K-State. Both teams' players will be up for it. Should be close, but don't think it will happen this year
11/16/19 @ OK State - L
11/23/19 @ Iowa State - L
11/30/19 Baylor - L - Slight chance only because it's at home

I get the feeling these people haven't been watching Kansas. It has been bad. Real bad. In 2017 Baylor won 1 game all year (included a lost to Liberty). Baylor still beat Kansas like a drum that year.

Could it happen? Sure. But I think it is a low probability. I certainly don't think there is anyway Kansas wins 6+ games.
