#6 is fair. The 5 ahead of LSU have all been playoff programs over the last 5 years. They've earned the benefit of the doubt.
Interesting note. Utah St. is in the "RV" (receiving votes) category and on that basis would be ranked #35. Looking at their schedule, it is possible they could be ranked in the top 25 by the time they visit LSU on 10/5. Not likely because they play AT SDSU, but possible

Clemsons schedule is such a joke. Their hardest game is a week 2 TAMU team and a 6-6 FSU team who barely made a bowl game. That's horrible for their fans.

It's great being ranked in the Preseason Top 10.
We have the talent and experience coming back to make a run at the playoffs this year.
I hope the coaching staff and players can put it together this year. Coach O has done an excellent job of roster construction and putting these pieces together.
And let's hope and pray that the right 4-5 guys stay healthy, so we can make this run.
