There deff was a anti Mahommes movement on ST because they wanted Brees to get the MVP up until that last month of the season

The MVP race last year was entertaining. Saints fans were pimping for Brees and understandably so but I think most of us knew that Mahomes had it wrapped up after November.

but how can you justify putting him over Mahommes & Brady from last season?

Assuming Mahomes is #1 Brees had a better season than Brady and didn’t he set the record for completion percentage? He was up there in MVP discussion I’m confused why you would be confused outside of being a Falcons fan

Are you in the league? ??

I suspect the players respect ones body of work and aren't affected by media hype and narratives?

That Atlanta game fricked him up. He'll be fine.

Well up until the Dallas game both were having MVP caliber seasons. Mahomes ran away with it after that. I think most level headed people knew Mahomes was having a special season, they just wanted Drew to get the MVP based on seniority if it was close at the end

This is the same list that had DeMarco Murray (#4 best player in the league) over Peyton Manning in 2015.

They also had JJ Watt as the best player in the league over Brady and Rodgers.

They also had Andrew Luck as the #7 best player in the league.

The list has ALWAYS been garbage. Players are apparently meatheads after all and too many pills going through their concussed brains.

For Brees to be the #2 player in the league; that's saying a team would ransom their franchise to get him right now at his age.

Nobody is giving up 3 years of 1st round picks and 3 years of 2nd round picks for Drew Brees.

Bree's stat line the last month of the season was not MVP worthy.

Brees in december

243.33 yards/game--70.4%--1td/game--0.66int/game--91.37 rating

Was likely still top 5 for the month of december

The players probably know more than us about who is good and bad I would assume.

This has absoloutely nothing to do with it. A team wouldn’t give up a ransom because of age not ability. This list is about ability.

I’d have no problem at all with Brees being below Mahomes. They along with Donald form some combo of 1,2,3 last year.

Don't care to argue between Brady, Brees and Mahomes, but I find it crazy that No. 6 is Brady's lowest ranking since they started this.
