There is an entire board specifically dedicated to political questions like this. You post enough. You should know this
I am just curious as to whether or not Louisiana has sanctuary cities. This isn't political enough for the politics board. And I can't trust a bunch people who believes in that "Q" shite.

Yes, Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette for sure.
Can't speak to the others, but Baton Rouge most certainly is not. The East Baton Rouge Parish Prison alerts ICE basically immediately upon arrest.

You fat hack.

FYI.. I am not addressing the same idiots who comes into everyone one of my threads complaining about the same bullshite.
I am looking for serious discussion. Someone has already said that EBR is not, after someone said it is.
The reason I am asking this is because I didn't think there were any sanctuary cities in Louisiana, but I am not 100% sure.

“I have been warning Louisiana officials that we needed to end Sanctuary Cities in our state. Now the chickens are coming home to roost," Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said in a statement. "We have an illegal immigration problem across the country and certainly in Louisiana. Unfortunately, New Orleans is part of this problem as the only Sanctuary City in Louisiana."
Article is two years old but I can't imagine that's really changed

There are far more illegals working the farms of rural Louisiana than new orleans, baton rouge and Shreveport put together.
And the owners of those farms are going to virtue signal and maybe donate gop.

This I see on a regular basis in cane fields. About 3 or 4 miles from my house there are cane fields and there are 3 smaller old houses that was semi-fixed up and thats where the workers live during cane season. There are probably 6-8 people living in each house.

I don’t have anything against the man and I voted for Trump and will again. But I don’t give a shite about his sticker on his truck. Tell me what you are going to do to improve Louisiana. The rest of that crap I don’t care about.

New Orleans is not a sanctuary city. Rispone is a moron and I can’t wait to never see his ads again.

The Rispone and Abraham campaigns have lambasted New Orleans as a so-called “sanctuary city” that flouts federal immigration laws. But the Trump administration’s own Department of Justice told former Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s administration in November 2017 that it was not a sanctuary city because the city’s police were in compliance with federal laws.
That followed a debate over whether the city was a “sanctuary” for unauthorized immigrants amid threats by the Trump administration to withhold federal funding. The Trump administration has made clear it still would like New Orleans officials to do more to identify and report people in the country illegally to immigration authorities.
The Rispone campaign points to the Center for Immigration Studies, an anti-immigration think tank, which still labels New Orleans as a sanctuary city, mainly because of its policies of honoring detainer requests from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) only in limited cases.
