Eric Reid is extremely wealthy. What's stopping him from creating the Eric Reid Scholarship fund, rather than talking on Twitter about how other people should use their money to do it. Be the change you want to be Eric. Or just bitch about it on Twitter. Your choice.

I challenge Eric Reid to post his tax return, showing how much he gave to (any) charity last year. Usually the people who think they know what's best for the rest of us give very little of their own money. Example: The 10 years before Obama nominated Biden for VP, Uncle Joe and wife Jill gave an average of $369/year for a decade. This is while he was a US Senator making $300,000 annually.

If people gave money to the TAF to upgrade facilities, then they probably did not want that money to be used for scholarships. They wanted it to be used for facilities and athletics.
