My experience with most things from there has been negative. I think their stuff is just poor quality and usually good for just a few uses but I have no experience with their generators.
How are they?

In case of an emergency, I don’t want to be depending on anything from harbor freight

I would not want to depend on a mechanical item from Harbor Freight. Specialty hand tools that you may only use once? Sure. Something your family will depend on? No thanks.

I bought one of the little bullshite small ones that we used at the tailgate for $60 or something like that.
That little bastard was LOUD but ran like a top and survived several seasons of football.
No clue on the big ones though.

Just spend the damn money on a good one and hopefully never use it like the rest of us!

all harbor freight power tools are pure garbage, hand tools are pretty decent quality though

What do you know: the OT’s take is exact opposite of the OB’s take

if someone was so inclined, i bet you could make bank buying a few dozen of them and then renting them out for storms for like $200 and $100 a day after the first 2 days

Only products I depend on from Harbor Freight are the handheld bug zappers.
Sure, like everything else from HF, they fall apart. But they’re only $5, and I get at least 200 kills (wasps and hornets mostly) for my $5 investment.

Harbor Freight sells cheap Chinese and Korean shite.
Go to Home Depot and buy a real generator.

I don’t own one. But every person I’ve ever come in contact with that has one raves about them. The reviews are awesome on the website as well.

Please go ahead and suggest an American made generator then.
You wont. Briggs and Straton isnt some bastion of performance

I bought the small one about a month ago. So far I have no complaints and am very pleased. Follow the instructions regarding oil changes and maintenance. The max amp draw is 13.

Most Honda generators sold in North America are made in America.
