The cost of batteries is in the pile of "If I give a shite how much they cost, I fricked up in life."
I buy all my batteries with my work’s money, and I still bitch about the price.

Sanyo eneloop rechargeables. I've got several sets of AA & AAA that I've had for 8-10 years that still hold up real well in high drain devices.
The AA batteries are strong enough to slip into a D cell adapter to run a lantern.

I remember my grandfather used to store batteries in the freezer. He was convinced it made them last longer. Depression era mindset

Consumer reports rates Kirkland and Duracell the best. I buy Kirkland because they are cheaper

Second best advice I received from the OT.
First was using a safety razor.
Not sure why I didn't think of doing this myself
I HAD to. 3 Xbox, 6 controls, 5 tvs, 2 Rocu...etc etc
Bought rechargeable with a charger that accets most sizes.
The batteries are almost double (depending on brand or deal)...but they recharge in 10 minutes and are good for easily 20+ charges
We mostky use AA. I buy pack of 12 about twice yearley.
Safety razor? Googling now. OT is paying off.

You still got that battery storage thing?
Man I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately.

The Sanyo/Panasonic Eneloop batteries are the way to go for most every application, like you I have ones that are 10-12 years old and still function great. They are expensive initially but save lots of money in the long run. The only small batteries that are every in my house besides these are ones that come with a new purchase like remotes.
OweO for the non-rechargeable batteries go to youtube there are tons of objective testing done by content creators that will give you useful info. Then you could start a thread with your findings that some might see as useful but your "fans" will enjoy telling you how wrong and stupid you are.

You move your finger across the pad and you can click like you do a traditional mouse.

But a mouse pad is just a pad for your mouse to sit on. What on earth would it need Bluetooth for?
Everything is better with Bluetooth.

worst batteries that i have used, especially AA, are the amazon batteries. Those things are garbage.
My problem with them is that every time I put them in a flashlight, a few weeks later the fricking label has half melted and stuck inside the flashlight. I quit buying the amazon batteries because of this.

That’s a touchpad. Not a mouse pad.
